been really busy with my portfolio...

PORTFOLIO
that word says it all..
I'll be working on my portfolio for the next week or so..
so I'm in deep focus and concentration..
and will be posting stuff on my 'portfolio' section...
Also, It will be nothing like what I have there at there at the moment..
because it's going to be hardcore when I'm done with it...
Due to the fact that I'll be having a few professors looking at it...
and plus I might submit to a couple of design schools...
So... I hope I can pul it off...
I'm pretty much all done for my work stuff...
I'll start the new Mirage Speaker project in 3~4 weeks time..
So hopefully... HOPEFULLY!!! I'll be done with my portfolio by then...

Houston Rockets Vs. Toronto Raptors
Went to see the game with Elaine last night
Kinda awkward to see the crowd to cheer for the Raptors and the Chinese Community cheering for Yao Ming... It was a stadium sell-out crowd due to the love for Yao Ming.
He is the first Chinese NBA Star after all...
I was there with Gerrome too, only 3 rows ahead...
I was a great game
For Yao Ming's stats last night.
Yao Ming capped a fourth-quarter comeback with three clutch free throws in the last minute
to help seal the Rockets' 97-95 win in Toronto on Wednesday.
Yao finished with 21 points and 9 rebounds

Quick Hand Sketch
Doing some portfolio work today too..
and I've been doing some quick hand sketching..
So I'm practicing both 3D perspective and technique...

REAL Cooking Lesson!!!
Back when I was with the set of "Martin Yan's ChinaTown"
The Food Channel Production... (still on air...)
I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Joseph Wong.
Who basically was incharge of all the preparation for all of the detail before each show segment...
He was the guy that carried out all of the dishes that Martin Yan had written..
Confused???..
you see... Months and months ahead of the production..
The chefs and staff at the office (where I worked back in the summer),
they would write up a bunch of recipies that Martin had in mind..
and from there, a tons of test would be done in the test kitchen..
then from there, these recipies would be sent along with Martin Yan to Toronto for filming...
But someone has to do the prep and set-up...someone with enough knowledge inteh Culinary arts...
Well that's where Joseph was hire as a consultant to run the prep kitchen..
There were about 6 more chefs under him...
Long story short, I got to know him really well,
and he always wanted me join his chef cooking class..
...classes where you're suppose to have a minimal years of experiences as a chef...
anyways, my parents went, and I brought Elaine along with me to experience it...
Since Elaine was allergic to Lobster, we couldn't stay for the test dishes...
But we went out to have a nice meal non-the-less...
Chef Joseph Wong is a highly regarded consultant to many good restaurants in Toronto
...to name one..."Bayview Garden Chinese Cuisine"
