ANIMATION EYE CANDY
French Animinations...
Another great thing about being here in NY is that I get exposed to the finest from across the globe...
Here at Pratt, they take in alot of students studying from all over the world...
Many who get the chance to come to New York to soak up from the industry's top professionals and Goo-Ru themselves to display their own finest work in order to impress or satisfy some of the hardest critiques and working professors around...
...New York therefore becomes the center stage for some of the world’s finest in art & design...
That's why on TV, you always hear this and that about New York's setting new trends and movements...
Further more, New York City itself has also possessed years and years of experiences in the creation, rejuvenating and retransformation processes to which fuels the spiritual essence to which art and design is burns on…
Anyways, I recently met this animator who does wonderful work in the animation industry...
and He showed me some of the stuff he did in France, and also his colleagues...
Check out the other animations on the second image link when you get to the site...

My NEW TOY
1st trial - 10min rendering...
I just got a new sweet 12x18 INTUOS2
It's an amazing tool for designers to apply rendering finishes on their designs...
Most car designs use this to do their fancy car rendering..
I might try that on a transportation design project...
Anyways.. this is definitely an amazing new tool for my design styling renderings...

First Shooting...
Now as most people would think... New York city is crazy and all that...
Shooting are quite common..
whether you live in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Harlem, or whatever...
Things of that nature are always on the news...
In fact, they are as common as traffic congestion reports...
But being my first one up close, it was something...
It happened while I was just out getting my take-out from a chinese restaurant...
I love my 'string-bean with beef' Fried rice..
so as I was doing my routine run over and ordered...
I usually just walk about the stores near by...
killing time while the cook does my special...
(I've gotten quite close with the store managers and cooks now)
So here I am.. walking about... thinking on the design and work...
runing thru my head... and my head...
hmm.. maybe I need a hair-cut...
and taking a look at some of the barber shop across the street...
and BANG!!
And first thought inmy head... stay down... cause bullets are flying...
so off to the pavement I go...
And as oppose to all the crap action you see on TV..
Things actually happen alot faster and less dramatic...
So as soon as I lift my head from the comfort of the sidewalk pavement...
Everything was done and the suspect drove off... and crying began...
So I got up... the only oriental one standing... only oriental standing...
and started walking back a few yards back to the chinese restaurant...
by the time I got to the door...
NYPD, Trauma medics, NYDE, and other specialist all crashed into the scene...
Sealing the entire 3 block radius...
But me being WAY too hungry.. I got my food and headed on my way...
The media press also started gathering people for live interviews...
I was just WAY too hungry...
and took a few pic with my camera (that is always with me)
